Established in 1955, Al-Babtain Power & Telecommunication Co., based in Saudi Arabia, that designs, manufactures and supplies transmission and telecommunication tower structures for the domestic and international markets. The Company's products include poles, masts, lighting and panel boards, towers, steel structures and pipes. Al-Babtain Power & Telecommunication Co. operates factories in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Cairo, Egypt. It owns 97% of Al-Babtain Power and Telecommunication Company - Egypt, a company engaged in the production of poles and towers and a further 51% of Al-Babtain LeBlanc Telecommunication Systems Limited, which is specialized in providing telecommunication tower and frequency surveys, civil site surveys, new tower and civil works engineering, drafting services as well as other related activities. The Company also owns a galvanizing plant located in the second industrial city in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a production capacity of 50,000 tons per year.

Al-Babtain website has many sections which needs to be updated frequently to reflect the most relevant and recent information. Few of the sections are – Financials, Jobs, Events, and News etc. Few of the sections are interactive ones which need to be updated in terms to show the result of customer’s interaction with the site options like – Enquiry, Complaint etc. Few sections need to be updated frequently for the sole purpose of Al-Babtain Staff like – Monthly E-Newsletter, Greetings and Other company related contents. This surfaced the need of a centralized Information System, from which the contents displayed on the website could be updated as and when required, with access to all the sections. This information system would serve as a backend for all the updatable sections of Al-Babtain Corporate Site. Additionally it would serve as a response source for the visitor’s interaction with the site.

The system should have centralized access control with ease of use interface and well-off yet secure navigational scheme. It would have both front end and back end information management with control of process flow. The system should facilitate the user to handle the queries, complaints received from visitors. User should be able to send invitation for the upcoming events. System should facilitate the user to manage news and events section, with facility to send the newsletter, greetings, and invitations to selected number of user or to desired recipients on the available email list, with all the information management like template and content management for the same sections. This system would serve as a backbone in the terms of information display on website in various sections.
